HSE management system
HSE is the integrated management of health, safety and environment. Since safety, environment and health management are closely related in actual production activities, health, safety and environment are integrated into a management system, which is called HSE management system.
Health refers to a person who has no disease physically and keeps a good state psychologically (mentally).
Safety refers to the elimination of all unsafe factors to ensure the smooth progress of production activities under the premise of ensuring the health of workers, the protection of enterprise property and the safety of people's lives.
Environment refers to the summation of various natural forces or functions closely related to human beings and affecting human life and production activities. It includes not only the combination of various natural factors, but also the combination of ecological relations formed by human and natural factors.
HSE management system mainly includes the idea that all accidents can be prevented; the viewpoint of full participation; the management mode of layer by layer responsibility system; the programmed and standardized scientific management method; the principle of identifying and controlling dangerous situations in advance. Since 1990s, as a management system, HSE has solved the management problems of safety, health and environment. As a result, HSE management has become an integral part of corporate culture. The formation and development of HSE's predecessor, health, safety and environment system is the result of many years' management experience in petroleum exploration and development, which embodies the integrated management idea.
